Really the first boxcar to ride the ‘Grande in any meaningful numbers starting in 1881. These ubiquitous cars were everywhere in the early years of the D&RG and could be found on the RGS and Silverton railroads as well. This Heritage series kit arrives as set of 3 3D ultra high resolution prints, brass etchings, wire and decal lettering. Fish line is included for trussrods. Little more than a couple of enjoyable assembly hours, the heavy lifting was done by the printer. Lettering includes several variations of D&RG lettering including the Colorado Rail Services Trust livery. The car is printed to have Kadee #714 couplers fall into place for ease of assembly. While our kit does not include trucks, we do produce perfect trucks for this kit separately that are the 10T archbars. These trucks are cast in brass and are a screwdriver assembly with KD #718 axles brass brake beams.
