These are 27' UP built boxcars that arrived early on the DSP&P. In 1889 when the DL&G formed, the former DSP&P lettering was painted over with dark patches to hide the lettering and the DL&G/UP lettering applied. This kit includes the dark patches for the sides and ends with accurate DL&G/UP lettering. If you have ever had to paint one of these dark patches you can appreciate how handy having the correct decal is!
Each kit comprises the finest laser cut basswood and plywood, super high resolution and primed 3D printed hardware, San Juan Model (Grandt) hardware, brass wire and decals.
