This is an exact kit for C&S #62 which was in service through the end of C&S narrow gauge operations. The 62 actually started service as a Pullman Tourist Sleeper #466 which was in D&RG service. She was built by Pullman in 1889. In 1894 Pullman sold the car to the UPD&G and was renumbered #193. In 1906 after the formation of the C&S, she was numbered #62.
This kit comprises fine laser cut woods, etched nickel silver and brass hardware, injected plastic hardware, 3D printed ABS hardware, complete accurate lettering, and window glazing. These kits showcase a revolutionary design concept that allows for quick and easy roof construction with virtually no filling and sanding while yielding perfect curves every time. These cars are designed to allow the builder to add a fully detailed interior that includes the area immediately under the roof.
The correct trucks for these cars were Pullman 6' wheelbase trucks. These are available separately in limited numbers. These trucks are cast in brass with a full set of etched brass brake levers and clevis. Every detail is included.
