The 1902 C&S 4' archbar trucks. These were used on several of the Type 1 cars that plied the C&S and RGS. Similar in appearance to the standard AC&F D&RGW 3'7" archbars, these trucks were unique.
These trucks were designed in 3D and printed in 3D wax. Not molded in the strictest sense. The value in this is the level of detail and accuracy is a level above what can be achieved using a rubber mold for waxes. Cast in beautiful brass, these trucks also keep weight closer to the rails for improved tracking. Wheels have code 88 wheels and are NMRA compliant. These trucks also use etched brass components that snap onto the bolster for ease of assembly. These etchings have integrated brake levers while supporting the cast brass brake beams.
